About

The UNESCO Chair on Future Studies was established in 2022 on the basis of the International Research and Educational Foresight Center of the HSE Institute for Statistical Research and Economics of Knowledge. The research activity of the Chair focuses on the development of anticipatory systems and processes, the identification of major emerging and evolving trends in economic and society both at national and global level, using innovative scientific and technological achievements. Within the framework of the UNESCO Global Futures Literacy Network in cooperation with the world's leading foresight centers the Chair widely promotes a futures literacy.
